About StreamEast
StreamEast keeps a free, running schedule of live sport. Every game, fight card, race session and wrestling show we list gets its own page showing when it starts and listing the streams for it. The streams themselves play on other websites.
What is on the schedule
There is a category for each of the major North American leagues, NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, and for college football, MMA (UFC cards are listed there), boxing, WWE and Formula 1. The WWE page carries AEW and other wrestling shows as well. Anything without a category of its own, such as the WNBA, college basketball, MotoGP, NASCAR, IndyCar or the CFL, goes on More sports. Always-on channels are gathered on the 24/7 channels page.
How the schedule is put together
Most of the list comes from a schedule we keep ourselves. A game goes onto it once streams have been lined up for it, sometimes several days ahead and sometimes on the day itself. Our server reads it every minute, so an edit to the schedule reaches these pages within a minute or two.
Because a game only goes on once streams exist for it, you will find fewer games here than in a TV listing. A game you expected but cannot find has usually not been added so far; it may still appear nearer the start.
Reading a game page
Every start time is given in Eastern Time (ET). On a game page, a phone or laptop set to another zone also gets a "Your time" line, which the browser works out from its own clock. A small label beside each listing counts down to the start and then turns into LIVE. It switches to Ended after the usual running time for that sport, so a long game can read Ended before it is really over.
The rows of the stream list are visible as soon as a game is added, but the Watch buttons only work once the start is an hour away. Until that point, the rows show when they will open. If you keep the page open, it refreshes itself shortly after that moment and the buttons appear. Each button starts a separate tab, and if one stream stalls you can come back and pick another row. The rows are numbered SportsUpdates 1, SportsUpdates 2 and so on, and the first one is the place to start. Channels on the 24/7 page have no lock at all.
When an event is over
A finished game drops off its category page soon after the end. The page for the game itself stays up for two weeks from its start date, showing that the event has ended and linking to what comes next in the same category. After that, the address forwards to the category page.
What StreamEast is not
We are not a broadcaster. No video is uploaded to our server, recorded on it or passed through it, and the video behind the Watch buttons comes from third-party sources. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no comment sections and nothing to pay for. No league, club, promoter or TV channel is connected with us, and their names appear here only so you can tell the events apart.
The disclaimer and the terms of use cover this in more detail, and the privacy policy lists the little the site records about visits.
Getting in touch
If a time on the schedule looks off, a game you want is not listed or a Watch button goes nowhere, write to [email protected]. The contact page explains what to put in the message so we can find the problem quickly. Rights holders should start with the DMCA page.
