F1 guide

Formula 1 on StreamEast is listed here, from Friday practice to the Grand Prix itself. The 2026 season, which began in March and ends in early December, has 11 teams and 22 cars, Cadillac being the newest name on the grid. Other racing series have their place on More sports.

The shape of a race weekend

A standard weekend has two one-hour practice sessions on Friday. Saturday brings a final practice and then qualifying, three knockout rounds that set the starting grid. The race is on Sunday and covers a little over 305 km at nearly every track, Monaco being the short exception.

A few weekends a season use the sprint format. Those have a single practice on Friday, followed by sprint qualifying the same day. Saturday has the sprint, a short race of roughly 100 km, followed later by qualifying for the Grand Prix.

Las Vegas runs a day ahead of everyone else: qualifying is on Friday night and the race on Saturday night, local time.

One row for each day

A race weekend appears on this page as one row per day, not one row per session. The row is normally timed for the first session of its day and named after that day's main session. That is why Saturday's row, called Qualifying, goes live with the final practice, a few hours before qualifying itself.

Each row is marked LIVE for three hours from the time shown, and on a long Saturday that window can close before qualifying is over, or even before it starts. The row's page keeps its Watch buttons after the label changes, so if qualifying is what you want, open the Saturday row early and keep that tab.

Race start times in Eastern Time

The Grand Prix starts in the local afternoon or evening, so its Eastern start depends on the continent. These are the usual windows.

Where the race is heldGrand Prix start (ET)
Continental EuropeAbout 9:00 AM; Britain about 10:00 AM
The Gulf (Qatar, Abu Dhabi)Between 8:00 and 11:00 AM
SingaporeAbout 8:00 AM
Japan, China, Malaysia, AustraliaOvernight, roughly midnight to 3:00 AM
Mexico, Brazil, Austin, MiamiMidday to late afternoon
Las VegasSaturday at about 11:00 PM

Rows are grouped by their Eastern date, with one twist: a session that starts before 1:00 AM ET stays with the evening before it. A Friday practice timed for 12:30 AM ET is therefore listed under Thursday, while a Grand Prix starting at 3:00 AM ET is filed under Sunday, even though for most viewers in the Americas it is a Saturday-night race.

Times on your own clock

Session times are written in ET. After the page loads, each upcoming row counts down in hours and minutes on your device. When your device keeps a different time from New York, the session's own page adds a line with the start converted to your zone, and the unlock time is converted the same way.

Opening a session

On a session's page, the Watch buttons come on an hour before the row's time. If you arrive early, keep the page open, because it reloads by itself just after they unlock. Each button starts a stream hosted elsewhere, in its own tab. None of the video passes through StreamEast. No account is needed.

When a race weekend is over, its pages stay up for 14 days, then they forward to this page.

Other racing

MotoGP, NASCAR, IndyCar and the series that support F1, Formula 2 and Formula 3, are all on More sports. An always-on racing channel, whenever one is listed, is on the 24/7 channels page.

F1 questions

Why does the Qualifying row go live before qualifying starts?

Each day has one row, and it starts with the first session on track that day. On Saturday, that is final practice.

Are sprint races listed?

Yes. A sprint weekend is listed day by day in the same way as a standard one.

Why is an Asian Grand Prix listed so early?

The race starts in the local afternoon, which is the middle of the night in New York.

Where can I find MotoGP?

On More sports, with a MOTOGP tag on its rows.
